How pricing & ordering works
Every blank shows what it costs printed: garment and printing together. Set your quantity and ink count below and the whole catalog reprices. Pick a color, add the sizes you want to a request and send it over with your artwork (or email it all to orders@rvathreads.com). We look it over and email you the invoice with your final price. Upload your artwork with your request. Vector is best (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg) and a high-resolution .png works too; there is an upload right on the request form. Low-resolution art that needs to be reworked may have an extra charge. Ink colors are the colors in your artwork, not the shirt. Each one is its own screen and its own pass on the press, so the price steps up with every color you add. The shirt color never counts.
Published prices are subject to change; blank costs move with distributor pricing. Your price is confirmed on the invoice.

Comfort Colors 1717 is the heavyweight, garment-dyed tee people ask for by name. BELLA + CANVAS 3001 is the softer, retail-fit tee we print every week. Gildan 5000 and Hanes 5280 keep the cost down on staff shirts, giveaways and big runs, and Next Level, American Apparel, District and Lane Seven fill in everything between.
How much do custom t-shirts cost?
It comes down to the shirt, the quantity and the number of ink colors in your art. The price per shirt drops at 24, 50, 100, 250 and 500 pieces. Every style has its own page with a price table, and the price reference lists them all.
What's the minimum?
12 pieces per design. Sizes, colors and styles all count toward it, as long as the same artwork prints on every piece.
How long does it take?
2 to 3 weeks from the paid invoice, and UPS Ground is free anywhere in Virginia, from Richmond to Hampton Roads.

Per-piece prices include the garment and printing. Each extra ink color adds $4.00 a piece at 12–23, $2.50 at 24–49, $1.50 at 50–99, $1.00 at 100–249, $0.90 at 250–499, $0.80 at 500+. Example: Gildan 5000, 50 pieces, 2-color front: $7.57 + $1.50 = $9.07 each. Fleece adds $3.50 to the garment and $1.50 per print location. A second print location bills at 60%. Heavily mixed orders may carry an added fee. Virginia orders add 6% sales tax; orders shipping outside Virginia aren't charged Virginia sales tax. Orders are folded by the dozen.
